Adem Albayrak
Mr. Adem Albayrak serves as Chief Data Officer at Alzheon and brings over a decade-long career in precision medicine and clinical research across industry and academia. Most recently, Mr. Albayrak was the Senior Vice President for Technology in Health Catalyst’s Life Sciences Business, tying together data, analytics, and product development to drive innovations through the use of real-world data towards retrospective studies, real-time monitoring of COVID-19 in collaboration with the FDA and other organizations, and identifying sites and patients to optimize clinical trial recruitment. Prior to Health Catalyst, he oversaw the genomics data pipeline at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute that enabled clinical research and translational medicine; supported researchers in bioinformatics and analytics projects; and led product management for the enterprise that included software for IRB-approved research data delivery, clinical trial matching, and real world data curation. Previously, Mr. Albayrak led product management at BIOBASE, where he launched a pharmacogenomics data product, which was acquired by Qiagen. Additionally, Mr. Albayrak spearheaded software product development at Knome, where he built and supported products in variant and gene pathway analysis.

Dr. David Nikodem is a biotechnology executive and investor with over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations and finance. He is CEO of Metadeq Diagnostics, Inc., Managing Partner of Sapidus Partners, and previously served as interim and later permanent CEO of AltheaDx (2018–2022). He has also held senior leadership roles as Consulting VP of US Operations at Inventiva Pharma.
Earlier in his career, he was a senior representative of Ally Bridge Group, where he played a key role in biopharma investments and served on the boards of several U.S.-based biotech companies. Before moving into finance, Dr. Nikodem conducted molecular biology research at the National Institutes of Health and Georgetown University, where he earned his PhD. He also worked as a U.S. Patent Examiner in biotechnology. He holds undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and English Literature from the University of Virginia.

Jaroslav Lískovec brings 15+ years of leadership experience. His backround is primarily entrepreneurship in the technology sector. He has also implemented strategic projects for the government of the Czech Republic such as the creation of the largest strategic industrial zone Triangle, the establishment of a new state-owned enterprise NAKIT focused on technologies for eGovernment and critical communication infrastructure of the state.
He also created the National Centre for Industry 4.0 and was an advisor to the Minister of Industry and Trade on technology, innovation and economic strategy. In the area of startups, he is responsible for the commercialisation and technology transfer of research at CTU – the oldest technical university in Europe – and is co-founder of CTU’s first employee spin-off TRIX Connections.

Petr Kadera brings over 15 years of experience in artificial intelligence for industrial applications. He leads a research group at the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics, and Cybernetics at CTU in Prague, focusing on intelligent systems for industry and smart grids. His work encompasses developing industrial multi-agent systems, with extensive collaborations with companies such as Skoda-Auto, Rockwell Automation, and Airbus. He has also contributed to significant European projects like DIGICOR, aiming to enhance collaboration across manufacturing industries.
In the commercial sphere, Petr Kadera is a partner and CTO in several spin-offs and startups, where he drives the development of AI-based automation solutions. His leadership in these ventures showcases his dedication to applying cutting-edge research in real-world industrial scenarios. His academic contributions include over 50 publications, patents, and involvement in organizing international conferences on multi-agent systems.

Jan’s work bridges academia and industry. As a researcher, he has published over 30 peer-reviewed papers and pioneered breakthroughs like lightning-fast interactive learning on 100 million+ image collections and an award-winning AI recommender that won the ACM Multimedia Grand Challenge 2014 award. He has been exploring interactive ML since 2013 and now integrates modern techniques like LLMs and foundational models into his work.
On the industry side, Jan has worked for organizations like Deloitte, ČEPS, and the Czech Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion. His applied Ph.D. research was supported by leading Dutch institutions, including the Netherlands Police, Netherlands Forensic Institute, and EUVision (now Qualcomm Netherlands).

Dr. Anna Marie Gabrhelová is a cognitive psychologist and customer researcher, holding a psychology degree from Masaryk University in Brno and a Ph.D. from Trinity College in Dublin. Her doctoral research investigated the application of smartphone-based assessments to examine the relationship between dementia risk factors and cognitive impairment, underscoring her commitment to leveraging digital technologies for advancing large-scale brain health understanding and support.
Anna brings extensive experience from both academic and industry settings, having held customer experience research positions within software development (Kentico, ROI Hunter), healthcare, and pharmaceutical sectors (MSD). Anna has established and scaled user research practices, provided mentorship to teams, and contributed to the scientific community through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. Operating at the nexus of psychology, research, and product development, she integrates qualitative research with data analysis to drive evidence-based decision-making and consistently champions customer perspectives across multidisciplinary teams.

Zdeněk Kodejš is a seasoned software architect with over 20 years of experience in software design, development, and architecture, with emphasis on cloud-based solutions. Throughout his career, he has contributed to a broad range of complex software projects spanning enterprise resource planning systems, mobile medical applications, and advanced cloud platforms for computer vision.
As a Software Architect at CertiCon, Zdeněk played a pivotal role in shaping the high-level architecture and technical design across several multidisciplinary software initiatives. He was responsible for translating functional requirements into robust, scalable architectures while ensuring compliance with performance and reliability standards in regulated industries.
Previously, as a Development Team Manager at Rockwell Automation, he led the recruitment and management of a skilled development team focused on building the company’s industrial Internet of Things cloud platform. His leadership extended from team formation and mentoring to overseeing the full development lifecycle of a cloud-native solution for industrial automation.
Zdeněk’s expertise lies in bridging the gap between technical vision and execution, enabling teams to deliver high-impact software products in demanding domains such as healthcare, manufacturing, and AI-powered systems.

Ing. Milan Drahoňovskýk, PhD
Mr. Drahoňovský also served as Deputy Director at one of the largest research institutions in the country, overseeing economics, purchasing, facility management, maintenance, and the grant office. Earlier in his career, he joined Deloitte, focusing on economic, process, and analytical topics within the public administration sector, leading projects for the Ministry of Finance, municipal administrations, universities, hospitals, and research institutions.
He began his career in 2001, collaborating with a German consulting firm in the energy sector, where he led projects across Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Romania, addressing restructuring, strategic purchasing, controlling, and other areas.
